Clare, David & Izzie, Paris, France. "lovely cottage with plenty of thoughtful touches and a nice bright feel. Izzie (aged 2) loved the hens, the tractor and touching the ripening tomatoes! Beautifully peaceful area, we particularly appreciated the view over the maize from the bathroom window!! And our visit to Sainte- Chapelle at Champigny-sur-Yeude and a tour of Loches castle. Good food and a pleasant welcome for toddlers at Gerbe D'Or in Loches. Hosts Nicole and Alex and their daughters were all welcoming, charming and made us feel at home straight away." David, Margaret, Will (12), Joe (10) & Eve (8) Birmingham, England. "we've had a fantastic weeks stay in Saule and in the Touraine du Sud! Nicole & Alex have been wonderful hosts, Issy & Amelie have shown the children a great time on the trampoline and pool.

Our favourite places to visit have been:

1.The evening at Azay le Rideau for the Songes et Lumieres.
2.The afternoon in a canoe in the river Creuse at Descartes, much harder work than expected but a really beautiful spot and great fun!
3.Swimming in the river at Lesigny early in the evenings to cool off.
4. Loches - a really beautiful town - David and I enjoyed it but the kids were less impressed...

All in all our stay has been even better than we hoped THANK YOU!

The cottage was spotlessly clean & beautifully decorated - we particularly loved the appearance of rustic simplicity combined with unobtrusive "modern comfort".
